Damhouse, which dates back to 1595 and was discovered by the Greater Manchester Archaeological Unit in 1995, was acquired by the Morts Astley Heritage Trust and restored in 1999. It includes 17 acres of beautiful woodland, a villa, and a lake with local wildlife.
